Felling or Dismantling
When a tree has become too big or dangerous for its surroundings, complete removal is advisable - roots damaging foundations are a typical reason too. Where there's no room to fell in one, we dismantle it section by section using ropes and rigging, with full control and safety.
Crown Reduction or Pollard
Crown reduction reshapes and reduces the overall size of a tree - a good reduction retains the natural shape of the tree. Pollarding is a heavier method that removes branches back to the main limbs to keep a tree manageable long-term.
Crown Lifting & Thinning
Crown lifting removes the lower branches, generally for space and tidiness in the garden. Thinning removes selective internal growth, resulting in a healthier tree and more sunlight reaching your garden.
